Lifelong Impact
Cindy has created an excellent class to expand your knowledge and resources for practicing body mindfulness. Cindy creates a safe space for her students to be vulnerable and expressive about their experiences, which allowed us to explore our neurodivergencies as well.
Because of what I have learned in this body mindfulness course, my sleep has improved, my stress levels are down, and my body is more regulated. I understand more about how my body and mind interact and how I can take action to support that system. The lessons I have learned will be with me for the rest of my life.

Better Dealing with Stress
This course taught me that I need to take care of myself to take care of others - especially when dealing with difficult people and situations before they stress me out. Knowing what tools I can use to reflect on what depletes or replenishes my energy levels is very useful to hit reset. I recommend this course to anyone who is having a hard time dealing with stress.

Just what we need!
Cindy is Wonderful! Our kids have always wanted to participate in yoga, and finally, they can. They love doing yoga with Cindy. She has a kind and loving energy and can easily accommodate both of our kids' unique needs. It’s done in a private intimate setting which is just what we need!

Sensory Processing Support
Cindy helped our son with a sensory processing disorder and was able to calm his nervous system in a fraction of the time than when we tried working with other OTs.
She was loving, knowledgeable, and truly a miracle for our family. Not only did she work with our son, but she also helped to educate us on tools to use at home. There is no one like her, and whoever gets to work with her is so fortunate.

Personalized Yoga
My daughter has a brain injury from radiation treatment for brain cancer. She’s not in touch with her body. It doesn’t help that she uses a power wheelchair, so rarely has pressure on her feet for grounding. She’s been in PT continuously for over 5 years. When asked how an exercise feels, she shrugs because she can’t feel it.
She’s been working with Cindy for a year and can now sometimes “feel” her body. What a joy and blessing Cindy has been to her. Cindy goes with the flow with my daughter’s energy level every session. And who doesn’t love yoga and donuts on special occasions?!

Holistic & "Outside the Box"
Our son worked with Ms. Cindy during his elementary school years. She provided detailed interventions specific to our son while thinking of the bigger and long-term picture.
I've always appreciated Cindy's ability to think holistically and "outside the box." She made sure our son felt heard and had his input. She helped him with his mind/body connection. Our son has a history of invasive medical procedures as a toddler. Cindy factored in his medical trauma history as well as his personality to make sure he had a tailored and supportive approach.
Our son learned a lot from Cindy. It was important to our family that our son had a nurturing OT who advocated for his needs not only for him, but his family. Thank you!

Self Regulation Techniques
Cindy is a truly gifted therapist. She works hard to connect with each child to understand their unique skills and challenges.
My son worked with her for two years and was happy to go to his sessions and was happy when he came home. Cindy made sure to take time to explain and educate me about the goals of the therapies, the methods, and the results. She was collaborative in her approach, both with me and with my son, showing deep respect for our insights and needs.
From his work with Cindy, my son gained confidence and self-knowledge. He learned self-regulation techniques that he can call upon as needed in any setting.

Fun & Interactive Experiences
Cindy worked with both of my kids for several years. The focus of her work evolved over the years depending on what challenges and opportunities they and the rest of the family were experiencing at the time.
At times, the work addressed very specific skills that needed development, such as stressful social situations or organizational skills. Other times, Cindy helped with broader issues such as focus, self-regulation, and mindfulness.
Throughout the years, Cindy always made the sessions fun such that the kids never felt overwhelmed and, in fact, looked forward to the sessions because they were fun, interactive experiences.
Perhaps most impressive about Cindy’s work is that she was always available as a sounding board to me during or between sessions, whether to talk through a new challenge or to rejoice when a child demonstrated progress in day-to-day activities.
Although my family no longer works with Cindy now that she has moved away, she has forever impacted our family in a positive, meaningful way.
